A Backhoe Operator at Nationwide will handle projects of various complexity and perform site work.

Responsibilities:

Must interpret stakes and benchmarks

Operate backhoe and bucket to complete job in a safe and timely manner.

Will also work in the field with the crews completing work

Operate backhoe front, back bucket and hydraulic attachments in a safe manner. Keeping work area tidy before, during and after works are completed

Able to service equipment when necessary

Stock piling of material aggregate/sand

Requirements & Qualifications:

3-4 years experience operating backhoe

Willingness to work and follow direction

Has a thorough working knowledge of utility construction and installation.

Ability to work independently and complete daily activities according to work schedule.

Ability to communicate orally and in writing.

Ability to use equipment and tools properly and safely.

Lift heavy objects as needed

Ability to understand, follow and transmit written and oral instructions.
