Accounts Supervisor Boslil Bank Limited Deadline for submission: September 19, 2022

Boslil Bank Limited is currently seeking applications for suitably qualified persons to fill the following position.



Effectively support the initiatives of the Financial Controller and assist with the leadership of a strong team of
Accounting professionals. The role will form an integral part of the bank’s accounting and finance functions, and aid
with the implementation and monitoring of internal controls and procedures within the Accounts department.


Work with Financial Controller to drive the
company’s strategic vision
Support the Financial Controller with the
leadership and management of team members
Promote automation initiatives to improve
reporting and analysis of operations
Assist Senior Management with the identification
and resolution of existing and potential risk
Deliver all department reports when required
Prepare and submit financial reports to
Significantly assist with the annual statutory audit
process and ensure its timely completion
Aid in the preparation of the annual operating
budget and quarterly forecasts
Assist with relief provisions in the absence of the
Financial Controller

Prepare monthly balance sheet and perform
income statement analysis
Conduct reviews of the bank reconciliation and
suspense accounts and ensure the follow-up of
outstanding items
Assist in the monitoring of income and expenses
to ensure that end of year budget goals are
Review work of direct reporting officers and
process accounting entries in core banking
Review petty cash reconciliations and ensure
appropriate spot-checks are conducted
Review monthly calculations of amounts due to
strategic partners
Verify/authorize SWIFT transactions
Help compile regulatory and internal control
reports while ensuring compliance with all
internal and regulatory procedures
Track and monitor the bank’s fixed assets


Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting from an
accredited college or university; or four years
related experience and/or training; or equivalent
combination of education and experience
Accounting designation e.g. ACCA, CA, CPA, CGA
Four (4) years relevant experience working in a
similar environment
Ability to read, analyze and interpret general
business periodicals, professional journals,
technical procedures or government regulations
Advanced computer skills/knowledge of
Microsoft Office Suite
