Vacancy: Reservations & Sales Agent
The Reservations & Sales Agent is responsible for handing reservation enquiries, processing bookings and
providing exceptional customer service to guests & clients. The ideal candidate will also lend support to the
Sales & Events Coordinator by managing and coordinating groups & special events such as weddings; ensuring
customer satisfaction and managing the quality of product & service delivered.

Key Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):
• Handle incoming reservation inquiries via telephone, email and online platforms.
• Assist guests with selecting appropriate accommodations based on their needs and preferences.
• Process reservations accurately and efficiently using the property management system OPERA.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of room availability, rates and special promotions.
• Coordinate with other departments to fulfil special requests and ensure seamless guest experiences.
• Handle guest concerns with professionalism and empathy, striving to resolve them promptly.
• Maintain accurate records of reservations, cancellations and modifications.
• Identify opportunities to upsell room upgrades, additional services and amenities to maximize revenue.
• Perform resort site inspections.
• Plan, organize, and coordinate events from concept to completion.
• Collaborate with clients to understand their event requirements and objectives.
• Gather feedback from clients and attendees to enhance future events.
• Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information and ensure that records are kept current.
Key Specific Technical/General Skills Required:
• Competent in the use of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Publisher, PowerPoint).
• Excellent communication skills – both written and oral.
• Must be well-organized and be able to plan and strategize effectively.
• Knowledge of OPERA.

Academic Qualification:
• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in business management, business administration or related field.
