Vacancy: Information Technology Assistant
The IT Technician will assist the Information Technology Manager with desktop support, troubleshooting
desktop hardware/software problems, and carrying out projects as assigned. Properly document support,
repair, and project activities using a helpdesk approach. In general, free the Information Technology Manager
from some of the day-to-day tasks so he can focus on larger projects and IT initiatives.

Key Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):
• Troubleshoot/repair/resolve technical problems/issues related to computer hardware/software.
• Analyse, recommend, and implement IT process improvements.
• Provide end-user support for all applications.
• Maintain accurate inventory of all technological devices.
• Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information; protect company assets.
• Address guests' service needs and employee requests in a professional and timely manner.
• Ensure adherence to quality expectations/standards; identify, recommend, develop, and implement new
ways to increase organizational efficiency, productivity, quality, safety, and/or cost-savings.
Key Specific Technical/General Skills Required:
• At least two years of experience in IT support, system administration or similar role.
• Experience in providing end-user support, troubleshooting technical issues and resolving IT-related
• Familiarity with IT project management methodologies such as PRINCE2 or PMP is a plus.
• Basic knowledge of network, server and desktop configuration, maintenance and support.
• Proficiency in providing desktop support for common software packages used at the resort.
• Ability to assist in the implementation of IT systems and projects under the guidance of senior staff.
• Familiarity with IT tools and software used for monitoring and maintaining IT infrastructure.
Academic Qualification
• A degree in IT, Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.
