Restaurant Wait Staff
Responsibilities:
To Serve guests within the Food and Beverage Department as well as Pool area and carry out Room Service duties when required.
Applicants must possess the following:
Four CXC Subjects with passes at Grade 3 level for Mathematics and English.
Minimum One-year experience within the Food and Beverage Department
Great telephone etiquette.
Applicant must be people oriented and friendly and must have a passion for Guest services.
Ability to convey information and ideas clearly and communicate effectively with Management and line staff.
Effective problem solving and stress management skills and ability to work under pressure.
Excellent listening skills and ability to understand, clarify and resolve concerns and issues raised by associates and guests.
Applicant must be able work well within a group or alone.
Willingness to work unsociable hours and alternate days due to the nature of the Hotel Industry and in an effort to meet deadlines.
Must be willing to work during functions and activities organized by the Resort on property or otherwise.
Adequate computer skills and willingness to learn additional programs such as Micros.
Excellent time keeping skills and patience.
