This position reports directly to the Division Head Compliance
Main Responsibilities
- Evaluate and examine procedures and policies and systems of internal controls in place at Massy Stores to protect the company’s assets
- Determine compliance with established procedures and policies
- Review systems of internal controls and their suitability to the needs of Massy Stores
- Design and conduct compliance test of specified areas and departments - Inventory, Sales, Purchasing, Payroll, Expenses and other non-accounting related areas
- Supervise junior compliance staff
- Assist with the carrying out special assignments
- Assist external audit with their year-end testing of internal controls
- Assist department head with the area of business continuity
Requirements
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting OR Level 2 ACCA along with evidence of expertise
- Minimum three (3) year’s work experience
