Main Responsibilities

Engage regularly with local customers, developing relationships that support contract retention.

Prepare a weekly roster for officers on assignments and where replacements are necessary on short notice, ensuring they are fully oriented with the assignment instructions and have the necessary PPE to carry out duties. In the event there is no available coverage, the supervisor will assist by remaining at the location until suitable replacement arrives.

Oversee staff on assigned sites that safeguard the customer’s assets, intellectual property, computer systems as well as the physical safety of the site’s employees and visitors.

Ensure all employees assigned adhere to G4S/Location Policies and Procedures and recommend necessary corrective action accordingly to stipulated guidelines. All disciplinary matters are handled according to good industrial relations practices.

Optimizes resources and continuously reviews the operations within the branch to improve profitability and customer service, managing change where necessary.

Champions continuous improvement, analyzing the effectiveness of processes and systems at G4S.

Ensure that the standard of professionalism, alertness and personal deportment of himself/herself and of the security staff deployed are maintained at the highest levels at all times through regular site visits.

The Ideal Candidate should have:

Strong Leadership and Analytical skills

A supervisory/security qualification would be an asset.

At least three (3) years of experience in the Security related field.

Valid Light Goods Driving License

Proficient computer skills

Effective oral and written communication skills

Ability to identify critical issues quickly and accurately

Attention to detail
