An exciting career opportunity exists within the Finance and Accounts Department for the post of Stores Clerk (Southern Office)
Role Summary:
Provide technical assistance i.e. provision of material required by various sections and company’s contractors.



Job Responsibilities:
To assist in the preparation of monthly stock reports;
To assist in the delivery of material/stock as per stores requisition;
Maintaining acceptable stock levels (issues vs. requests);
Record the issue of material and receipt of material in ledgers;
Maintain communication with the central store room;
Maintain communication with internal consumers i.e. Connections Clerk, Operations Personnel and Billing Officer;
Any other job related duties assigned by your Supervisor



Eligibility requirements:
Five CXC O’ Levels including Mathematics, English, Accounting, Principles of Business.
Certificate Storekeeping/Inventory Control will be considered an asset
Knowledge, skills and abilities:
Must be Computer Literate (Proficiency in Microsoft Suite i.e. Excel, Word, etc.)
Excellent Communication Skills (Verbal and written)
Excellent Interpersonal Skills
Inventory Management Skills
Basic Plumbing (knowledge of various pipes and apparatus)
Knowledge of Distribution system and Company’s Operations



Purchasing
Basic Accounting skills
