CUSTOMER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE

AREA OF RESPONSIBILITY:
The Customer Service Representative will act as a liaison between the company and customer by, providing product/services information, answering questions, and resolving any emerging problems that our customer accounts might face with accuracy and efficiency.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES




HANDLE CUSTOMER ISSUES:
Determines the issues customers are experiencing combining expertise and information
Collaborates with the sales & Operations team to understand issues affecting customers
Keeps track of customer issues and resolving rate
Sets targets for reduction of customer issues
Handle customer complaints, provide appropriate solutions and alternatives within the time limits; follow up to ensure resolution
Identify and assess customers’ needs to achieve satisfaction
Receiving and placing customer service telephone calls. Manage large amounts of incoming phone calls, emails, and WhatsApp messages
Keep a database of customer interactions and track resolutions
Data entry and research as required to facilitate a resolution of customer problems.
CUSTOMER BILLING:
Explain invoices, the invoicing process and liaise with Finance regarding receivable balance inquires and statements
Generate account codes
ACCOUNT MANAGEMENT:
Account Management
Open new customer accounts in Mendix
Maintain customer records by updating account information
Generate and issue void and credit overrides codes
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree in Business OR Management
Minimum of two (2) years’ experience in a Commercial Environment
Knowledge of Accounting techniques
Experience in FMCG or related industry an asset
