Cost Controller
To ensure that proper control measures are in place to eliminate wastage and protect the inventoried assets of the Hotel.

Suitable candidate is expected to present accurate and timely reports which will aid other heads of departments in the smooth running of general operations. He or she will also be expected to work in collaboration with the Food & Beverage Manager, Executive Chef and Functions Manager in Calculating Food & Beverage Department cost.

Applicants must possess the following:
An Associate degree in Accounting
Five CXC Subjects with passes at Grade 3 level for Mathematics and English.
Two years’ experience in a related field.
Computer literate: Ability to operate basic Applications such as Microsoft word and Excel.
Ability to operate office equipment such as printers, copiers, telephones, calculators etc.
Ability to convey information and ideas clearly and communicate effectively with management and line staff.
Effective problem solving and stress management skills and ability to work under pressure, alone and in a group.

Must be able to work with and understand financial information, data and arithmetic functions.
Must be familiar with preparing cost reports.
Excellent listening skills and ability to understand, clarify and resolve concerns and issues raised by associates and guests.
Willingness to work unsociable hours and alternate days due to the nature of the Hotel Industry and in an effort to meet deadlines.
