Carimex - Customer Service Representative
CARIMEX is a newly opened agricultural input store. We are currently seeking a Customer Service Representative who will be responsible for assisting with the efficient running of the store and providing exceptional customer service to all clients.
Summary of Roles and Responsibilities:
Recommend appropriate products based on customers’ needs and upsell where possible to increase sales.
Maintain accurate sales records using the software prescribed by the company.
Accept payments from customers and provide change as necessary.
Provide accurate receipts and invoices to customers, ensuring full compliance to the Sales and Inventory Management Procedures.
Ensure accuracy of client profile information.
Submit weekly and monthly sales and inventory reports to management.
Execute clerical functions as necessary or requested by management.
Maintain and manage records of product inventories.
Maintain client confidence and protect operations by keeping company and client information confidential.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
An associate degree or equivalent in Business Studies, or related field from an accredited college or university;
A minimum of 2 years’ experience in sales, retail or related field;
Knowledge and/or training in the agricultural sector will be an asset;
Excellent communication and organizational skills;
Ability to approach and interact with customers at all levels;
Good knowledge of and proficiency in MS Office Suite and QuickBooks;
Good problem-solving skills.
