VACANCY NOTICE FOR TELLER
The St. Lucia Teachers’ Credit Co-operative Ltd. is seeking a suitable candidate to fill the
position of Teller at our Vieux-Fort branch.
Key Roles and Responsibilities:
• Receive deposits to member accounts ensuring that amounts are verified and due
diligence is performed before posting on system
• Processing of withdrawals and paying out of cash and cheques ensuring there is proper
verification of signatures and member balances
• Disburse approved loans
• Ensure that cash holdings are balanced and reconciled on a daily basis based on policy
guidelines
• Ensure that custodial practices and cash security are maintained in accordance with policy
guidelines
• Open accounts for new members in accordance with AML policy
• Assist members in completion of insurance forms
• Assist with the cross and up selling of the Credit Union’s products and services
• Promote member and loan growth

Qualifications and Experience
• An Associate Degree in Business or a related field, CAPE in Accounting, Mathematics, or
Business related
• Similar post in a financial customer-focused organization is an asset
