Job Role: Store Associate/Inventory
To ensure all yachts inventory and safety equipment are correct and in good
condition. Maintain adequate stocks of high turnover items within company
guidelines. Carry out regular stock takes with store manager of store
inventory and new boat phase in inventory including inputting Inventory into
Database. Support the launch of a new finance system – this requires
experience of using stock and finance systems.

Specific responsibilities
• Prepare and keep a log of all purchase requisitions according to
company standards.
• Liaise with mechanic and rigging staff and Base/Operation manager
on stock levels and spare parts required.
• Order parts in a timely fashion.
• Ensure all local orders are issued with a signed purchase order.
• Supervise the daily functions of the marine store.
• Organize stock takes on a quarterly basis or as requested by the
Base Manager.
• Ensure and assist accountant in entering stock take results promptly
into the Database and reports submitted.
• Support the launch of a new finance system – this requires
experience of using stock and finance systems.
• Control tools inventory and maintain a record of tools taken and
returned.
• Ensure inventory and safety equipment are correct for each charter
vessel before charter.
• Assist in maintaining accurate filing records of parts ordered, issued
and received.
• Ensure all parts and inventory received is correct and checked with
a customs official.
• Ensure all parts and inventory received is securely locked away or
distributed to the relevant departments.

Note: The role may involve flexible working hours, including weekends and
public holidays.
