The St. James’s Club Morgan Bay St. Lucia is seeking to recruit experienced talent to join our happy team of employees. We are currently taking applications for the position of Warehouse Supervisor.
JOB SUMMARY
Oversee and coordinate daily warehouse activities such as receiving and storing goods, managing inventory levels, ensuring the efficient delivery of goods, supervising staff, and securing the warehouse, enforcing health and safety standards of operations at all times.
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITES
Achieve high levels of customer satisfaction through excellence in receiving, identifying, dispatching and assuring quality of goods
Measure and report the effectiveness of warehousing activities and employee’s performance by supervising employees and daily activities.
Tracking and coordinating the receipt, storage and timely delivery of goods and materials.
Checking order, bills, items received, inventory and deliveries for accuracy.
Communicate job expectations and coach employees
Determine staffing levels and assign workload
Interface with customers to answer questions or solve problems.
Maintain items record, document necessary information and utilize reports to project warehouse status
Identify areas of improvement and establish innovative or adjust existing work procedures and practices * Maintaining Health and Safety requirements, and records of such
To establish best proactive with FIFO, and Stock Rotation
Maintaining a clean and controlled warehouse, and maintaining cleaning standards
DESIRED SKILLS AND REQUIREMENT
Possession of good communication and interpersonal skills excellent written and verbal communication.
Must be computer literate and proficient in using excel, word processing, spreadsheets, data bases and outlook.
The ability to anticipate customer needs, change goals and direction quickly and multitask.
Proven excellence in customer service.
Proven comfort and experience to interact effectively with all levels of management, customers, and associates, employees both inside and outside the organization.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Ensuring basic maintenance standards and compliance with health and safety regulations.
Highly effective supervisory skills and techniques. Must have at least five (5) years experience in a similar position.
Must be flexible with working late, weekends and holidays when necessary.
Must be actively fit and have no medical conditions which would enable performance in the role
Must be able to drive and hold a full driving license
Must be able to write reports and training staff for optimum performance and productivity
