JOB TITLE: Secretary
Duties and Responsibilities:
Greeting and interviewing patients to complete intake forms and medical request forms.
Maintaining confidentiality of patient records.
Scheduling and confirming patient medical consultations.
Receiving and performing telephone calls in accordance with company’s guidelines.
Receiving and routing emails and documents to appropriate staff.
Responding to emails.
Preparing medical reports, invoices, receipts, letters, and medical records.
Performing various clerical and administrative functions such as ordering and maintaining an inventory of supplies.
Performing miscellaneous duties as assigned
Certified document from Caribbean Secondary Examinations Certificate (MUST have obtained grade I or II in 5 or more subjects including Mathematics, English, EDPM and or office administration).
Needs an office administration or a secretarial tertiary level diploma or equivalent.
Must be a fluent English speaker with good verbal communication skills.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Proficient in computer applications which include: Microsoft Office (Word and Excel), QuickBooks.
Ability to exercise initiative, tact, and good judgement particularly as it relates to safeguarding of confidential information.
Excellent written, oral communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to effectively communicate and liaise with staff and patients.
Good time management skills
Ability to maintain a professional demeanor and appearance.
Must be punctual.
Must be trustworthy.
Minimum of six months to one year working experience in an administrative environment OR have done internship in office administration.
Monday to Friday: 8:00 am to 4:30 pm
Saturday: 8:00 am to 1:00 pm
