True Value Building & Hardware Supplies Limited - Accounts Supervisor

• Prepare and analyze revenue reports, monitor cash flow
• Manage costs, including analyzing monthly expense accounts, correct any errors and inconsistencies in financial entries.
• Payroll preparation
• Work with external auditors during financial audits
• Prepare management accounts
• Monitor and manage receivables
• Monitor and manage payables
• Manage intercompany transactions
• Establish and maintain suitable systems of internal controls
• Ensure that all statutory obligations are met (VAT, PAYE, NIC)
• See that International Accounting Standards are adhered to
• Prepare management reports for other associated companies
• Manage all insurances for all company assets
• Maintain fixed assets register
• Prepare reports as requested by directors
• Managing budgets and timelines effectively
• Assist in ensuring timeliness and accuracy of the financial statements
• Review financial data to ensure fairness and completeness of the data
• Prepare financial reports and assist in their evaluation
• Adopting proper policies for financial reporting
• Conduct account reconciliations and analysis
• Prepare monthly journal entries as needed
• Review all monthly journal entries for accuracy and reasonableness

Qualifications and Experience Required

• Degree in Accounting or a related field
• Level 2 ACCA/CGA or other accounting qualification
• At least 3 years’ experience in a computerized accounting environment
• Working knowledge of accounting software packages
• Proficient in Microsoft office Suite with particular emphasis on Excel is essential
• Full knowledge of Financial Accounting Systems
