SunTours - Human Resources Assistant
Primary Responsibilities:
- Maintaining employee personnel files, both physically and electronically
- Keeping updated records on time and attendance including vacation and sick leave
- Assisting with HR recruiting tasks: coordinating face-to-face interviews, scheduling phone interviews, conducting background checks and acting as first-point-of-contact with all applicants
- Assisting with orienting new employees to the organization
- Maintaining records related to grievances, disciplinary actions and performance reviews
- Planning and communication company activities effectively to encourage employee participation whilst creating excitements around events
Experience and competencies:
- A minimum of 3 yearsβ experience in a similar position
- A bachelorβs degree in Human Resources Management would be an asset
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
- Must be highly organized, detail-oriented and self-motivated
- Must be dependable and able to follow through on instructions
- Sound knowledge of G Suite software
