Inventory Team Leader:
We are a well-established and successful retail company seeking an experienced, self-motivated and critical thinker as our Inventory team leader.
As leader of the Inventory department, you are responsible for the accurate inventory count of all incoming and outgoing stock. You will strategize, coordinate and implement efficient inventory protocols. Being proficient in cost control and record-keeping is an asset. You will also be collaborating with the Sales Team to promote products.
You will plan all purchases and stock taking to maximize efficiencies and incorporate best supply chain and inventory practices to minimize inventory loss.
You will be responsible for training, managing and mentoring all inventory staff, including drivers to ensure that all inventory protocols and standards are adhered too.
Responsibilities:
- Able to lead and manage a team
- Provide recommendations to improve systems
- Implement and support SOP for department
- Develop business relationships with local, regional and international suppliers and distributors
- Record daily deliveries and shipments to reconcile inventory level
- Analyze inventory levels to forecast future needs
- Evaluate suppliers to achieve cost-effective deals and maintain purposeful relationships with suppliers
- Propose strategies to reduce operating cost
- Improve procedures of supply chain and logistics
- Manage team schedules for deliveries and stock-taking to optimize daily operation
- Conduct weekly meetings with sales team and inventory team to assess product demands vs supply.
- Liaise with Sales and Advertising Manager to design and promote products based on BCG Matrix
Qualifications:
- 3-7 years previous working experience as an Inventory Team Leader
- Leadership and management
- Good Verbal and written communication skills
- Additional education or experience in Logistics / Supply Management /Inventory software is an asset
- Team Oriented
- Interpersonal skills
- Good time management
- Proactive
Compensation: Competitive based on experience and qualifications.
Working hours: 8:30 pm – 4:30 pm. This can vary depending on the time of the year

We are looking for an Accountant to join our company. We are well established and committed to our growth within the retail industry.
In your role of Financial Accountant, you will be responsible for accounting and financial activities of the company.
You will assess all financial transactions, from each department to provide financial and budgeting recommendations for investment and growth.
You will also be responsible for all financial reports, cost productivity and company expenditures
Responsibilities and Duties
- Prepare the monthly profit and loss and balance sheet reports for the company
- Aid in the implementation of any new accounting policies, systems and guidelines
- Examine financial reports for accuracy
- Prepare tax returns and ensure that they are filed on time
- Lead and manage accounting clerical team. Coordinate accounting departments
- Evaluate financial operations to recommend best practices, identify issues and strategize solutions for cost efficiency and business continuity
- Offer guidance on operation cost reduction practices and make recommendations of profit maximization
- Oversea the completion and reconsolidation of all ledger accounts and financial statements
Qualifications
- Demonstrate intermediate to advance skills and knowledge of Excel, Mircosoft suite,and Quickbooks
- 5-6 years accounting / financial experience
- Team leadership and management
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience with accounting software
- Highly detail-oriented
- The ability to prioritize work assignments
- Maintain confidentiality and sensitive information
