FOOD & BEVERAGE TRAINING & QUALITY ASSURANCE MANAGER

The successful applicant will be responsible for designing, executing and overseeing all training and quality assurance activities in the Food & Beverage department geared towards optimizing guest experiences and ensuring team members possess the knowledge and competencies to reach their highest potential.

Job Responsibilities:
Plan and administer on-going training and development programs which will facilitate well-trained team members at all levels and permit advancement for those persons qualified and interested in career development.
Train the Food & Beverage department trainers and assure high-quality performance geared towards the resort’s maintenance of a reputation for dependable, friendly service with optimum achievement in guest satisfaction scores.
Conduct departmental training and development needs assessments.
Maintain accurate and detailed records of training and development activities, attendance, results of tests, evaluations, assessments, surveys, feedback, and retraining requirements.
Establish and circulate training calendars and schedules for the food and beverage department.
Monitor industry trends and guest feedback platforms and initiate appropriate action to improve guest satisfaction and team member performance.
Develop, modify and enhance the food and beverage department’s standard operating procedures.
Work closely with the department of People & Culture to ensure training and development goals and objectives are achieved in line with the resort’s strategic objectives.
Devise procedures to inspect and conduct documented quality assurance audits of the food and beverage operation to assure consistency in product quality and service delivery throughout all outlets and functions.
Facilitates proactive solutions by collecting, recording and analyzing data and the results of quality inspections and audits and submitting the relevant reports.
Provides insight and strategic advice based on data analytics as it pertains to food and beverage operations to assist in achieving the department’s and resort’s strategic goals.
Enforce and adhere to all local and international laws and regulations regarding food and beverage safety.
Conduct and/or attend meetings and briefings to maintain favorable working relationships among the resort’s leadership and employees and promote maximum morale, productivity and efficiency.




Ensure a high degree of confidentiality is maintained in all aspects of the resort’s operations.
Perform all accountabilities in a timely and efficient manner, following established company policy and projecting a favorable image of the company to achieve objectives, public recognition and acceptance.
Perform all necessary managerial functions to effectively and efficiently manage the food and beverage training and quality assurance operations in accordance with applicable policies and regulations.
Requirements:
A minimum of five (5) years’ experience in a Training & Development and/or Food & Beverage managerial role or similar role
Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Human Resources, Food & Beverage or Hospitality Management or a minimum of seven (7) years equivalent training and food and beverage managerial work experience in a luxury hospitality environment
Exceptional level of attention to detail
Excellent presentation skills
Excellent leadership, organizational and communication skills
Adept with a variety of multi-media training platforms and methods and Microsoft Office suite
Strong analytical, critical-thinking and problem-solving skills
Experience in the design and administration of training plans and associated training and developmental activities
Experience developing and implementing strategic and business plans
