DIRECTOR OF PROCUREMENT
The Windjammer Landing Villa Beach Resort is currently seeking a passionate and dynamic professional who takes pride in their ability to deliver exceptional customer service and provide creative, guest-focused solutions in support of our world-renowned 4.5-star luxury Resort.
The Director of Procurement will be responsible for the establishment and execution of a comprehensive supply chain strategy that leverages the Resort’s buying power, to assure quality, cost and delivery standard requirements are met in all aspects of procurement operations.




Key responsibilities of your role will include:
Developing procurement business plans and long-term sourcing strategies for the Resort
Formulating and maintaining an approved vendors list encompassing all categories of items or commodity groups
Forecasting the ongoing demand for goods and services as well as price trends
Overseeing the procurement process to ensure procedural compliance from sourcing to delivery
Preparing and negotiating contracts with vendors to provide products or services in line with 5-star quality standards in a fiscally responsible manner
Coordinating and overseeing all sourcing, logistics, supply chain and inventory management systems and processes
Directing and regulating the procurement activities for various departments and projects to ensure the receipt of supplies and services in a cost-effective manner in line with established deadlines
SKILLS
Strong analytical, negotiation and project management skills
Expertise in sustainable procurement
Commercially astute, results-driven and highly customer-focused
Excellent oral and written communication skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office
Impeccable integrity and attention to detail
Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to effectively manage multiple priorities




KNOWLEDGE & COMPETENCIES
The ideal candidate must have the ability to work in a multicultural, dynamic environment and should also possess the following competencies:
A minimum of five years’ experience in procurement management in a luxury 4- or 5-star hotel environment with increasing leadership responsibilities. New construction experience is a plus.
A Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Project or Business Management is preferred
Competency in training and developing a team and promoting a team-oriented environment
Flexibility and the ability to adapt is vital
Ability to work various shifts and on weekends and holidays
