Coconut Bay Beach Resort and Spa is currently seeking experienced individuals to join our dynamic and esteemed team in the capacity of:

Asian Chef:

• Must have at least seven (7) years’ experience in Asian and Indian cuisine and knowledge of tandoori oven cooking
• Proven track record of monitoring/ controlling costs and inventory
• Continuously drive the culinary and food and beverage team for the Asian Restaurant through innovation, growth and training
• Hands-on experience with various kitchen equipment (e.g. grillers and pasta makers)
• Advanced knowledge of culinary, baking and pastry techniques
• Superb Leadership skills
• Ability to remain calm and undertake various tasks
• Excellent time management skills
• Up-to-date knowledge of cooking techniques and recipes
• Familiarity with sanitation regulations
• Culinary school diploma preferred
• International work experience is mandatory and ability to speak a foreign language would be an asset

Senior Electrical Engineer:

• Must have at least seven (7) years’ experience at a Caribbean Resort
• Plan, develop, review, update, modify and approve electrical design plans and work schedules
• Liaise with contractors and team members to ensure projects are completed to specifications
• Maintaining and improving existing electrical engineering processes
• Conducting research, performing diagnostics and troubleshooting equipment
• Hands-on experience with various electrical equipment (e.g. commercial laundry machines and dryers)
• Specializes in electric protection devices, network power electricity, grounding and lightning protection systems
• Ability to remain calm and undertake various tasks
• Superb leadership skills
• International work experience is mandatory and ability to speak a foreign language would be an asset
• Degree in Electrical Engineering
• Practical experience with CAD software
• Additional license or certification may be required

REQUIREMENTS

The successful candidate for all of the above positions needs to be customer service oriented, self motivated, enthusiastic and possess a positive attitude. Must be a team player and able to work any day of the week (including weekends and holidays) and any shift (day and night). Must also be able to read and write and possess outstanding communication and listening skills. Should be able to work independently, part of a team and under pressure. Due to our mandatory online training program, all applicants must be computer literate.

N.B Successful candidates must provide a fit to work letter from a doctor, health card (food and beverage employees), police record, tax code, bank details, two reference letters from past employer and two passport sized photos.
