1st National Bank, the nation’s preferred and, ONLY indigenous Bank, is, in the process of strengthening its Operational Supervisory Team. For this purpose, 1st National Bank is seeking a dynamic candidate to fill the position of:

Client Services Supervisor

Job Summary
The candidate will be responsible for ensuring continuity, efficient execution of cash operations and management, while leading the Operations team in achieving the Bank’s mandate in sound and customer focused financial transactions and security sensitive procedures.
Responsibilities and Duties
  • Authorize and override Tellers transactions according approved limits and policies
  • Authorize electronic transactions referred by Sales & Service personnel according to bank’s policies
  • Act as a joint custodian of combinations to the vault
  • Retrieve cash from Treasury for Tellers
  • Supervise the retrieving and filing of documents
  • Prepare cash requisition and redemption forms to Treasurey
  • Prepare and dispatch bulk cash to Centralized Treasury Management Unit
  • Updating Treasury Book
  • Verification of outgoing wire transfers and foreign drafts
  • Repatriation of Treasury Cash (ECCB)
  • Perform Snap checks
  • Review GL Account - Cash on hand and ATM suspense
  • Complete Contigent Liabilities report
  • Review Bank statements
  • Train Tellers in the effective performance of their duties
  • Regularly evaluate performance, coach and counsel reportees so as to improve performance
  • Manage monthly roster of operations staff
  • Manage vacation schedule of operations staff
  • Any other duties assigned.
Requirements
  • Associated Degree in Business Management and or Finance
  • Certification in Supervisory and People Management
  • Minimum of 5 - 8 years banking experience
  • Experience in fast moving, customer-oriented environment
  • Experience in customer and client services
  • Certificate in Conflict Management
  • Knowledge of Banking Act
