Reservation representative – Castries Office
To assist in the duties of the Reservations Department, delivering excellent customer service when assisting guests and suppliers in the making, changing and cancelling of reservations, ensuring every detail is accurately recorded following the established procedures.
Ensuring the highest level of guest satisfaction by offering attentive service and anticipating guest needs
To have in-depth knowledge and understanding of the operation, procedures, promotions and supplier contracts.
To maximize revenue by converting enquiries and taking every opportunity to upsell.
To ensure that all reservations are recorded following established procedures with full and clear information and that they are entered accurately and promptly into the reservations system Opera.
To ensure payments are processed in a timely manner.
To liaise with other departments as necessary ensuring all guests requirements are adhered to.
To ensure daily reports are maintained.

Performs duties with accuracy, speed and attention to detail.
Ability to work well in a high-pressure environment.
Excellent communication skills; both verbal and written.
Ability to adapt and respond to changing work situations and environments.
Excellent organizational and planning skills.
Natural ability to sell enthusiastically.
Flexible scheduling to meet the needs of the department; willing and able to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays.
Proficient in Excel, Word, Power-Point and Hotel specific Operating systems such as ‘Opera’
Compensation will be influenced by the successful candidate’s qualification, experience and skill.
