VACANCY NOTICE
Position: Yoga Instructor/Spa Therapist
Position Summary:
The incumbent is responsible for providing a balanced yoga practice for participants of all levels and abilities, providing progressions and regressions when necessary, and educating patrons on appropriate breathing principles and safe transitioning techniques.
To perform professional massage and body treatments to all our customers of the Spa. To have thorough knowledge of numerous massage modalities, possess a general understanding of body treatments and be willing to train in our spa's specific massages and body treatments offered. To possess excellent communication skills and be able to learn the product and service knowledge necessary to effectively provide wellness solutions to meet the needs of our customers. To hold and maintain a current Certification to the Anse Chastanet & Jade Mountain requirements.




Responsibilities:
Performing consistent professional massages in accordance with spa protocols and accepted certification practices;
Performing consistent professional body treatments in accordance with spa protocols and accepted certification practices;
Upholding the standards of sanitation and sterilization as directed by law and the spa's policies and procedures;
Preparing, cleaning and restocking treatment rooms as required;
Be knowledgeable of all emergency procedures and current with emergency response protocol;
Ensure that a safe and healthy environment exists for exercising;
Maintain knowledge of general fitness, wellness, anatomy, kinesiology and physiology as it relates to human movement and muscular conditioning




Should also possess the following SKAs:
Ability to work well in a high pressure environment;
Having complete knowledge and understanding of all services and products offered in the spa;
Ability to communicate effectively with guests, giving detailed descriptions of our services and treatments;
Ability to actively promote and sell all spa treatments and services offered at the resort

Compensation:
Compensation will be influenced by the successful candidate’s qualification, experience and skill.
