Unicomer (Saint Lucia) Limited - Brand Manager

Unicomer (Saint Lucia) Limited is looking to recruit Brand Manager for the OECS. The successful candidate will be responsible for the development and execution of marketing strategies for all brands and to drive brand awareness, customer perception and customer traffic while maintaining a positive Corporate Image.

Principal Accountabilities:

  • Increase sales through advertising support and analysis of marketing impact in order to attract potential customers and retain existing ones
  • Develop, implement and execute the marketing objectives, strategies and plans for all lines of Unicomer business, prepare and manage supporting budgets and promotional plans to increase store traffic and sales
  • Develop, implement and execute advertising campaigns, new product launches, store launches, promotions, Point of Purchase (POP) and Point of Sale (POS) materials and other marketing activities alongside sales and Advertising and Promotion (A&P) guidelines and budgets
  • Leads the development and approvals of all creative advertising in line with Unicomer (Saint Lucia) Limited regulations
  • Monitor competitors activities and analyses the marketing impact
  • Prepare post campaign reports, analysis and measurements on all promotional events and spend ROI
  • Identify and negotiates key sponsorship and advertising opportunities - plan negotiations and determine the most appropriate media to advertise products and services at the best cost to the company
  • Manage the performance of the marketing team to ensure that departmental goals are met; engage in staff training, discipline and motivating, and direct duties accordingly
  • Prepare all Return of Investment proposals prior to each Campaign for approval by Marketing Director
  • Perform any other duties requested by the Commercial Director

Job Specifications

Qualification/Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor Degree in Marketing, Business Management/Administration and/or related discipline
  • Three (3) to five (5) years managerial experience in a Marketing Department for a medium to large organization with two (2) years’ experience in event planning and corporate communications

  • Excellent strategic and creative skills with emphasis on business and brand building skills
  • Demonstrated ability to handle multiple assignments and adapt to changing priorities
  • Strong budget management and leadership skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

  • Ability to manage a media and product budget
  • Good attention to detail
