St. Lucia Eye Centre - Accounting Clerk
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join one of the longest established optical companies on the island as an ‘Accounting Clerk’
St. Lucia Eye Centre prides itself on delivering first class family eye care in a friendly and caring environment.
The position of accounting clerk consists of being responsible for capturing financial data, preparing daily sales summaries and extracting month end management information reports. Also the filing of data to keep financial records complete.
Prepare daily sales summary reports for submission to location manager.
Close Credit card machine daily.
Balance petty cash weekly for review by practice manger or front office manager.
Complete special reports and miscellaneous assignments as required.
Ensure the work area is clean, secure and well maintained.
Handle customer and employee accounts receivable by ensuring amounts received are posted to the correct clients accounts.
Undertake all bank transactions including the daily depositing of daily receipts, wires to effect payment to overseas suppliers.
Ensure Utilities payments are made timely.
Maintain files, including filing vendors/suppliers accounts, accounts payable documentation and other miscellaneous findings.
Prepare bank reconciliation reports monthly.
Prepare monthly VAT, NIC and PAYE submissions.
Routine computer and back office supply purchases.
Type a variety of documents reports and records.
Manage email correspondence.
Capture customer complaints on prescribed form.
