The National Insurance Corporation is deeply saddened by the passing of our Chairperson Mr. Evaristus Jn Marie who died on Friday 31 July 2026.

As a proud Saint Lucian and an experienced businessman, Mr. Jn Marie recognized the significant role that the National Insurance Corporation plays in the lives of his fellow Saint Lucians.

This was evident in his commitment to the work of the various Boards and Committees on which he served within the NIC Group of Companies from February 2021 until his passing.

He will be remembered for his calm yet positive demeanour and commitment to fairness.

On behalf of the Board, Management and Staff, we extend our deepest condolences to his family, friends and all those whose lives he touched during his distinguished life and service.

We ask that the public join us in remembering Mr. Jn Marie and keeping his family in their thoughts and prayers.
