GCG Group - Lean Specialist
The Lean Specialist roles offers an opprotunity to lead the local implementation of the lean productions system (LPS), acting as a change agent promoting continuous improvement philosophy. Focus in waste elimination and process improvement to ensure that productivity targets are reached, 50% dedication to field work is necessary to give appropriate support to production and operations areas. Provide training and follow up to warranty that lean tools are correctly used. This position will report directly to the General Manager and the Corporate Lean Specialist.
Qualification & Skills Required:
- Educational level: Bachelor’s in industrial engineering, chemical engineering or related fields
- Experience: 2 years as a minimum applying continuous improvement systems
- Specific skills: Teamwork, improvement orientation, communication skills, positive influencer
- Certifications: Desirable Yellow Belt Certification
Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Manage the Continuous Improvement System in order to implement the lean practices in the station
- Understand an apply the lean practices to teach others
- Follow up the key performance indicators (KPIs) for the station, and work to find the root cause of the negative trends in order to correct them
- Identify and eliminate barriers in the implementation of the continuous improvement system
- Report the results for the KPIs and Lean implementation advance
