The St. James’s Club Morgan Bay St. Lucia is seeking to recruit experienced talent to join our happy team of employees. We are currently taking applications for the position of Executive Housekeeper.
Job Summary
The Executive Housekeeper will be part of the Executive Management team with responsibility for bringing considerable managerial experience to the Housekeeping department. Be able to lead a team of housekeepers, laundry attendants and public area attendants to continuously improve cleanliness and productivity. Be committed to providing the highest levels of comfort and hospitality to our guests leading to maximum guest satisfaction.




Desired Skills
Great eye for detail.
Working knowledge of room management systems, prior knowledge of the Opera System would be an asset.
Strong managerial ability must be able to manage a team, lead, motivate and direct the team to perform at exceptional standards.
Analytic skills and problem-solving abilities are necessary.
Identify and monitor training needs within the housekeeping department, and design, plan, and deliver training programs to employees.
Must be financially astute, ability to manage a budget and control expenses.
Possession of excellent communication skills excellent written and verbal communication.
Must be computer literate and proficient in using excel, word processing, spreadsheets, data bases and outlook.
Proven excellence in customer service.
Proven comfort and experience to interact effectively with all levels of management, guests, and associates, employees both inside and outside the organization.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Must have at least two (2) years experience in a similar position.
Must be flexible with working nights, weekends and holidays.
