Dax Wholesale & Retail - Merchandiser
Dax Wholesale and Retail is seeking to hire someone who is focused, committed and self-driven to fill the post of Merchandiser at our organization.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Maintains store shelves by observing displays of company products
- Maintains inventory by restocking shelves with product from inventory
- Observing inventory levels
- Prompting store Supervisor to reorder when levels appear low
- Provides information to Supervisor/Management by reporting growth
- Arranging for return and credit for damaged products.
- Removing damaged or expired-dated products
- Tidying store shelves
- Providing optimum display of products
- Assist with proper storage of goods
- Respond to customer inquiries, complaints and products queries
- Assist with special promotions by setting-up displays at aisle ends
- Observing customer reaction to special promotions; forwarding observations to management
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
Skills and Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Product Knowledge and Reporting Skills
- Attention to Detail
- Demonstrable experience of delivering excellent customer service
- Good communication skills, outgoing personality
- Ability to work within a team
- Ability to cope with pressure
- Excellent Customer Service skills
- Interpersonal Skills
- Confident
