The incumbent will be responsible for the daily operational management of the Material Replenishment process and is responsible for preparation of the material plan for all products within the Heineken Saint Lucia portfolio while optimizing resources in order to maximize customer service levels.
𝐌𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐚𝐥 𝐏𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠
Coordinates and monitors the material replenishment process while considering the interdependencies with supply planning and commercial activities
Ensures that all production and material constraints related to plan changes are articulated and mitigated to minimize disruptions
Ensures that materials arrive on time in full for production by doing the following:
- Checking for reasons for production delays/ supplier delays and implementing actions to resolve
- Escalating issues in supply to management to mitigate impact
-Collection and management of production and supplier delivery data
Generates and discusses alternative scenarios on the material replenishment plan for the S&OP process, with clearly listed assumptions and risk assessment on volume and costs
Considers the potential risk of last-minute changes to the plan such as availability of materials, Low OPI, Disruption in other SKUs and communicates these risks to relevant stakeholders.
Monitors and analyses the material replenishment planning KPI’s like forecast accuracy and bias while discussing and supporting improvement opportunities
Provides clear and accurate information on material replenishment planning performance
𝐓𝐏𝐌 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐮𝐨𝐮𝐬 𝐈𝐦𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭
Initiates, implements and embeds improvements to material replenishment planning processes and procedures and supports TPM initiatives.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
Minimum University degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Forecasting, Demand Planning or other comparable/ related field
2-3 years’ relevant experience in one or more of the following:
- Commercial roles (Eg Trade marketing, Customer Service)
- Logistics Management, Distribution & Planning activities
Project Management (Preferably in Supply Chain related activities/ projects)
High Computer literacy
SKILLS
Strong analytical skills
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills - Ability to concisely and convincingly present facts and figures
Knowledge of the commercial and supply chain processes
Basic knowledge of Demand planning and S&OP
Good Team Player- Ability to work in autonomy and cross functionally when needed
