VACANCY NOTICE
The St. Lucia Teachers’ Credit Co-operative Ltd. is seeking a suitable candidate to fill the position of Teller/Loan Admin. Assistant at our Castries branch.
Key Roles and Responsibilities:
- Receive cash/cheques/drafts etc. for deposit to member accounts, verify amounts and dates on cheques and enter balances
- Processing of withdrawals and paying out of cash and cheques ensuring there is proper verification of signatures and member balances
- Disburse approved loans
- Ensure that cash holdings are balanced and reconciled on a daily basis based on policy guidelines
- Ensure that custodial practices and cash security are maintained in accordance with policy guidelines
- Open accounts for new members in accordance with AML policy
- Assist members in completion of insurance forms
- Assist with the cross and up selling of the Credit Union’s products and services
- Promote member and loan growth
- Responsible for ensuring that all securities, including promissory notes, mortgages, bills of sale, insurances are accurately captured in the system
- Monitor and pursue all delinquent accounts 5-35 days late
- Assist with booking and coordinating of loan appointments

Qualifications and Experience
- An Associate Degree in Business or a related field, CAPE in Accounting, Mathematics, or Business related
- Similar post in a financial customer-focused organization is an asset
