Vacancy - Computer Technician
Applications are invited for the position of Computer Technician.
Qualification/Education:
Tertiary level education, preferably a diploma in Information Technology/Computer Science
A+/COMPTIA Certification would be an asset
The Successful Candidate must be able to:
- Troubleshoot network communication or hardware related issues
- Configure, install, update and maintain computer hardware and software
- Troubleshoot, diagnose and solve network hardware/software problems including the installation of switches, routers etc
- Be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Applications
Skills/Experience:
- Minimum of two (2) years experience in computer hardware/software
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Analytical and problem solving
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to perform effectively and efficiently with little or no supervision
Personal Characteristics:
- Self motivated and honest
- Should be a team player
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Willingness to function beyond the regular call of duty
- Holder of a Driver’s License
