SunTours - Human Resources Assistant
Primary Responsibilities:
  • Maintaining employee personnel files, both physically and electronically
  • Keeping updated records on time and attendance including vacation and sick leave
  • Assisting with HR recruiting tasks: coordinating face-to-face interviews, scheduling phone interviews, conducting background checks and acting as first-point-of-contact with all applicants
  • Assisting with orienting new employees to the organization
  • Maintaining records related to grievances, disciplinary actions and performance reviews
  • Planning and communication company activities effectively to encourage employee participation whilst creating excitements around events
Experience and competencies:
  • A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar position
  • A bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management would be an asset
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
  • Must be highly organized, detail-oriented and self-motivated
  • Must be dependable and able to follow through on instructions
  • Sound knowledge of G Suite software
