Roles and Responsibilities

• Liaise with the Guest Services Manager and Supervisors regarding work schedules and special assignments
• Organize and assist with the preparation for guest check-in and general guest transactions
• Review registration information for accuracy, room types and special requests
• Verify housekeepers’ room status reort
• Prepare and circulate guest list
• Register, check-in and check-out guests, post and file guest information
• Service and follow-up ongoing guest requests, inquiries and complaints
• Prepare guest information sheets, maintain up to date knowledge on the Hotel
• Answer guest queries and provide information on guest activities, services and entertainment in general
• Issue and retrieve room keys, safe deposit keys and vouchers

• Possession of communication skills excellent written and verbal communication
• Must be computer literate and proficient in using excel, word processing, spreadsheets, data bases and outlook
• The ability to anticipate customer needs, change goals and direction quickly and multi task
• Prior knowledge of the Opera System would be an asset
• Proven excellent in customer service
• Proven comfort and experience to interact effectively with all levels of management, guests and associates, employees both inside and outside the organization
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment
• Must have at least five (5) years experience in a similar position
• Must have an excellent personality
• Must be flexible with working nights, weekends and holidays
