REGISTRATION & DATA OFFICER
I. EMPLOYEE SPECIFICATIONS
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: Associate degree in Business Administration or equivalent qualification with (2) years related experience.
SKILLS:
  • Proficient in Data Entry and MS Office
  • Numerate with keen attention to detail for accuracy & completeness
  • Excellent time management and organizing skills
  • Excellent communication, team and interpersonal skill
II. REPORTING AND ORGANIZATIONAL
REPORTS TO: Research & Planning Manager or Senior Manager, Collections & Compliance
SUPERVISES: R&P or Accounts/Finance Department
LIAISES WITH:
Internally
All Departments
Externally Industry Partners, Government Departments & Agencies, General Public.
JOB SUMMARY: The incumbent must possess exemplary customer service skills, be talented in multi-tasking, come equipped with exceptional technical aptitude and approach assignments with a positive attitude. Duties include assisting the public with registration and queries, data entry, placing and fielding phone calls, answering non-routine questions, composing documents and collecting taxes and fees.
RESPONSIBLITIES
  1. Processes registration of Accommodation Providers whether individuals or companies.
  2. Researches and verifies Accommodation Provider information; provides information on tax liabilities.
  3. Answers phone calls, written inquiries, and meets with general public regarding departmental regulations, policies, procedures, or issues relating to the Accommodation fee; research answers; fax/email forms to callers, when required;
  4. Assists the public with completing the various required forms, records, etc. for the assigned department;
  5. Accesses information in computer database for the public and records information in computer database regarding transactions;
  6. Maintains comprehensive and accurate records; Composes routine correspondence
  7. Prepares and sends mailings to required individuals and companies;
  8. Investigates information in files and computer databases and provides summary of findings as requested;
  9. Records messages and forwards to appropriate personnel if unable to handle/answer question;
  10. Works with customers in courteous and efficient manner in all transactions;
  11. Perform general database maintenance and research duties
  12. Collect payments from Accommodation Providers when assigned.
  13. To generally assist in the work of the Saint Lucia Tourism Authority and undertake other duties which may be required from time to time as assigned by your Head of Department or CEO.
