As Store Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our retail store, including product availability and pricing. Other duties entail managing the staff and customer services, and finances. In this role you may also train new employees and schedule shifts. You may also be required to evaluate the job performance of retail staff.
To ensure success as a store supervisor, you should exhibit demonstrable managerial competency, and excellent communication skills. Store Supervisors are natural leaders with excellent business management skills and a passion for customer service.

Two (2) years of previous supervisory experience required experience in a retail environment preferred
Excellent organizational skills to function effectively under time constraints and within established deadlines with particular attention to detail and excellence in customer service
Must have the ability to communicate clearly and directly with guests using a positive clear speaking voice both in person and over the phone
Ability to participate in the creation of an enjoyable work environment
Ability to effectively deal customers and staff some of whom will require high levels of patience tact and diplomacy
Must inspire leadership among team members and confidence among customers
Should possess a collaborative mindset, positive attitude and problem-solving approach.
Proactive attitude, skilled at planning and initiating.
Demonstrable experience in a supervisory capacity at a retail store, or similar.
In-depth knowledge of product and consumer trends, and marketing strategies.
Exceptional interpersonal skills in dealing with employees and customers.
Competency in retail point of sale software.
Familiarity with labor code, and occupational health and safety standards.

Performing opening and closing duties
Maintaining a presentable and clean work environment
Interacting with clients in a professional and service-oriented manner
Promoting and selling store products
Overseeing salespeople, cashiers, shelf stockers, and other employees.
Keeping records of expenditure, sales figures, and employee performance.
Implementing measures to avoid stock damages, theft, and wastage.
Monitoring shelves, stocks and product displays, and the general appearance of the store.
Investigating market trends and recommending products for purchase.
Addressing customers' requests, comments, and complaints.
Motivating employees to achieve targets.
Training new staff members and scheduling shifts.
