Media Release: GEF project clinic

GROUPS WISHING TO APPLY FOR PROJECT FUNDING IN THE AREAS OF ALTERNATIVE ENERGY, AGRICULTURE, AND BIODIVERSITY ARE ASKED TO CONFIRM ATTENDANCE.

The Global Environment Facility Small Grants Programme invites representatives of non-governmental and community based organisations from around Saint Lucia, to a project clinic at the Financial Centre, Pointe Seraphine, Castries, on June 1, from 2 to 4 p.m.

CSOs will have the opportunity to present their ideas and receive immediate consideration and an indication of their chances of receiving grant funding.

Any group that wishes to apply for grant funding in the areas of alternative energy; climate smart agriculture; agroforestry; sustainable agro processing; pollution abatement; apiculture; protection and sustainable use of biodiversity; promotion and use of organic farming principles; and other such areas, are asked to call the GEF SGP office at 452-4900 to confirm their attendance and make an appointment.

Reminder: the session is from 2 to 4 p.m. on Friday, June 1, at the Financial Centre, Pointe Seraphine, Castries.
