Assistant Property Services Director – Windjammer Landing
Essential Functions/Responsibilities:
The successful candidate reports directly to the Director of Rooms & Property Services and manages and coordinates departmental operations to ensure the highest standards of cleanliness, efficiency, and guest service in the Housekeeping and Landscaping departments.



Conducts consistent, continual inspections of accommodations, laundry, public spaces and landscaping to determine and enforce established standards for cleanliness and safety and takes appropriate action as required.
Assists in budget preparation and monitors performance.
Executes training and assists in the professional development of personnel.
Skills, Knowledge, Qualifications and Experience:
A minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in a luxury hotel environment; or a 2-year college degree and 3 or more years of related experience; or a 4-year college degree and at least 1 year of related experience
Managerial experience required



Must be proficient in Windows operating systems
Medium work - Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 20 pounds of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects
Ability to stand and walk for extended time periods
Ability to communicate effectively and efficiently both verbally and in writing
Must be able to evaluate and select among alternative courses of action quickly, accurately and proactively
Must work well in high pressure situations
Must maintain composure and objectivity under pressure
Must be effective in handling problems in the workplace, including anticipating, preventing, identifying and solving problems as necessary



Must have the ability to assimilate and analyze complex information, data, etc., and consider, adjust or modify to meet the constraints of the particular need
Must be effective at listening to, understanding, clarifying and resolving the concerns and issues raised by team members and guests
Must be able to produce, work with and understand financial information, statements and reports
Must possess strong leadership and organizational skills with the ability to drive change and assist in maintaining operational efficiency and synergy across departments
