Lumberyard Senior Supervisor Key Functions
  • Oversee all operational activities of the lumberyard including the sales office.
  • Manage all delivery and receiving processes.
  • Management of all inventory and warehouse systems and processes.
  • Coordination of team members and departmental activities to ensure excellence in service delivery.
  • Provide customers with service excellence.
  • Co-ordinate the off-loading of all goods from containers and break-bulk cargo receiving.
  • Efficiently handle all customer queries and complaints.
  • Maintain a highly motivated, efficient and well-trained team.
  • Generate and present reports as necessary.
  • Assist with stock-takes
Applicant Requirements
  • History of excellence in customer service.
  • Associate Degree in Building Construction or Business Management or a related field.
  • Two years driving experience with a valid driver’s license endorsed for heavy goods.
  • Qualification and or working knowledge of inventory mmanagement, health and safety standards and warehouse procedures would be an asset.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent written and oral skills.
  • Ability to work with minimum supervision.
  • Ability to lead and motivate a team.
  • Proven leadership experience, minimum 1 year.
  • Two (2) years warehouse and or inventory experience.
Junior Lumberyard Supervisor (Vieux Fort) Key Functions
  • Plan, organize, control and coordinate all activities pertaining to the receiving and dispatching of all warehouse goods in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Assist the management team with the enforcement of company procedures and policies.
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of employees in the lumberyard and sales office.
  • Oversee all operational activities of the lumberyard including the sales office.
  • Manage all delivery and receiving processes.
  • Coordination of team members and departmental activities to ensure excellence in service delivery.
  • Provide customers with service excellence.
  • Generate and present reports as necessary.
  • Assist with stock-takes.

Driver Key Functions
  • Safely drive and operate assigned company equipment when required and directed.
  • Assist Customers in meeting their purchase needs.
  • Assist with loading, unloading and proper storage of goods.
  • Assist with maintenance of company assets.
  • Assist with stock-takes.
Applicant Requirements
  • Five (5) CXC’s passes at general level including English Language and Mathematics.
  • A minimum of five (5) years driving experience.
  • Experience with heavy duty vehicles is required.
  • Valid driver’s license endorsed for heavy goods.
