Finance and Administration Officer

The Msgr. Patrick Anthony Folk Research Centre (FRC), is seeking to recruit a Finance and Administration Officer for the organization. The core functions of this position will include the management and implementation of all the programmes of the FRC, the preparation of activity-based budgets and financial reports. This officer will work along with the Executive Director to prepare budgets, develop proposals for financing and management of the assets and investments of the organization. Administrative functions include general office management and the supervision of the FRC administrative staff.
Applicants must possess a minimum of five (5) years’ experience in a field of finance, accounting and administration with three (3) years of supervisory experience.
Applicants must also possess at least Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or financial management, ACCA Level II or equivalent. Knowledge and experience in the use of Quickbooks and the management of computerized accounting systems in Management, Administration, Cultural Studies, Education, Social Sciences or related fields. Any experience working with the programmes in cultural development, non-governmental organizations will be a tremendous asset.

Information Communications and Technology (ICT) Officer

The Msgr. Patrick Anthony Folk Research Centre (FRC), is seeking to recruit an Information Communications and Technology Officer (ICT Officer) for the organization. The core functions of this position will include the design and management of information communications and technology architecture to support the delivery of programmes and the overall management of the FRC. The individual will be responsible for the dissemination of information on the work of the FRC to internal and external stakeholders, through traditional and new media platforms.Applicants must possess a minimum of five (5) years’ experience in the field of management and administration applications, preparation of projects for funding and evaluation. The individual must possess excellent organizational, planning and communications skills.
Applicants must also possess at least Bachelor’s degree in Information and Communications Technology, Media/Communication Studies with advances skills in ICT or related fields. Proficiency in the use of all standard office applications, virtual meeting applications and cloud security is required . Any experience in the management of online communications portals and websites will be a tremendous asset.

Programmes Coordinator

The Msgr. Patrick Anthony Folk Research Centre (FRC), is seeking to recruit a Programmes Coordinator for the organization. The core functions of this position will include preparation and coordination of the programme of activities related to cultural education, Kwéyòl language development, cultural research and special community cultural projects. Management functions include preparation and management of budgets, the supervision of programmes and project staff, consultants and project volunteers.
Applicants must possess a minimum of five (5) years’ experience in the field of programme planning and management, preparation of projects for funding and evaluation. The individual must possess excellent organizational and communications skills.
Applicants must also possess at least Bachelor’s degree in Management, Educational/Cultural Administration or related fields. Proficiency in the use of computer applications including word processing, spreadsheets and presentations is required. Any experience working with the programmes in cultural development, non-governmental organizations and community-based organizations, will be a tremendous asset.
