Role Description
To promote and effectively communicate Digicel’s propositions in St. Lucia as set out in the marketing plans taking full account of the competitive marketplace. Determine the business requirements relating to acquisition, retention and customer satisfaction. To develop and implement activity to asst in maintaining the pre and postpaid customer base and drive net new activations. To support efforts in ensuring the company’s positive image in all marketing communications, including but not limited to advertising, public relations, collateral development and event.
Duties and Responsibilities
  • Liaise with the Marketing Manager to interpret bi-annual research to again real customer insights that are actionable and can positively impact the next wave of results
  • Manage the achievement of net activations targets and revenues targets for St. Lucia market via effective communications plans
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with advertising and PR agencies in addition to key stakeholders in the business, government and society
  • Management of the creative process with advertising agencies from brief and concept development right thru to delivery to market for St. Lucia specific campaigns
  • Management of the creative process with advertising agencies from brief and concept development right thru to delivery to market for selection of the OECS region campaigns, as directed by the Marketing Manager
  • Ensure that all communications have been approved through the appropriate marketing governance process of being signed off by the Marketing Manager and the Product and Pricing Director as appropriate
  • Liaise closely with the Marketing Manager to ensure that artwork is supplies for output at local print agencies within the agreed timeframes
  • Develop a quarterly communications plan for retail channels ensuring that all collateral is accurate and current
  • Ensure efficiency of execution of the operational activities of branding all Digicel sponsored events to maximize coverage and exposure
  • Management of the local PR function to ensure that a positive image of Digicel is maintained and maximized. Issue press releases to local journalists and manage the execution of press conferences in conjunction with the Marketing Manager
  • Update and maintain photographic, video and audio records of all marketing activities
  • Any other duties within the scope of the job as periodically assigned by Marketing Manager
Academic Qualifications
  • Degree in marketing or business
  • Professional candidate with 3 - 5 years in a similar marketing role and proven track record of delivering against targets
  • Experience in developing and managing marketing propositions to specific target markets
  • Experience in working on cross functional teams in a dynamic marketplace
  • Excellent analytical, communication and presentation skills
  • Strong motivational, influencing and team building skills
Skill Set
  • PC proficiency on MS Office Suite of Products
  • Strong oral and written communication and presentation skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills are an absolute fundamental for success in this role
