VACANCY NOTICE

The St. Lucia Teachers’ Credit Co-operative Ltd. is looking for a dynamic individual to fill the position of Teller at our Vieux-Fort branch.

Key Roles and Responsibilities:
⦁ Receive deposits to member accounts ensuring that amounts are verified and due diligence is performed before posting on the system.
⦁ Processing of withdrawals and paying out of cash and cheques ensuring there is proper verification of signatures and member balances
⦁ Disburse approved loans
⦁ Ensure that cash holdings are balanced and reconciled on a daily basis based on policy guidelines.
⦁ Ensure that custodial practices and cash security are maintained in accordance with policy guidelines.
⦁ Open accounts for new members in accordance with AML policy
⦁ Assist members in completion of insurance forms.
⦁ Assist with the cross and up-selling of the Credit Union’s products and services
⦁ Promote member and loan growth

Qualifications and Experience
⦁ An Associate Degree in Business or related field or CAPE in Accounting, Mathematics, or business-related
⦁ Similar post in a customer-focused organization is an asset.
