Position: Payroll Officer
Location: Blue Waters St. Lucia Ltd – Massade, Gros Islet

About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Payroll Officer to join our team. The successful candidate will manage payroll processes for both monthly and fortnightly cycles, ensure compliance with statutory requirements, and maintain accurate payroll records and journals.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and process monthly and fortnightly payroll accurately and on time.
- Maintain employee payroll records and ensure compliance with labor laws and company policies.
- Calculate statutory deductions (NIC, PAYE, etc.) and ensure timely remittance.
- Prepare payroll journals and submit to Finance for month-end closing.
- Handle payroll queries and provide support to employees.
- Generate payroll reports for management and audit purposes.
Qualifications & Skills
- Minimum Qualification: Associate Degree or Diploma in Finance, Accounting, or Business.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years’ experience in payroll processing or a similar role.
- Proficiency in payroll software and MS Excel.
- Strong understanding of labor laws and statutory requirements.
- Experience preparing payroll journals and reconciling accounts.
- Excellent attention to detail and confidentiality.
