Real Foods Inc., the franchise holder for the KFC brand in St. Lucia, is looking to recruit an Accounts Manager for its growing operations.
The Accounts Manager will be responsible for managing the organization’s finances and is responsible for financial reporting and regulatory matters. The incumbent will be required to assess financial risks and opportunities, oversee and manage the accounting team and help set and track financial goals, objectives, and budgets functions of the Accounting Department to ensure efficient and accurate discharge of duties related to accounting. Duties include but are not limited to:
Assist with high level decisions about policy and strategy, participate in developing the organization’s strategic plan
Ensure that legal and regulatory documents are filed accurately in a timely manner and monitor compliance with laws and regulations to ensure limited exposure to resulting fines and penalties.
Identify and address financial risks and opportunities for the company.
Prepare annual budgets, cash flow forecasts, monthly management accounts
Supervise financial reporting, budgeting and general accounting teams
Manage the day-to-day operations of the Accounts Department
Handling of Management Accounts
Prepare profit and loss statement each period.
Monitor the management of Branch Floats and Petty cash
Prepare tax schedules and annual returns.
Managing payroll functions including monthly and annual statutory submission and reports
Coordinate and manage the external audits
Monitor submission of reports and reconciliations
Maintain Asset Listing
Management of inventory and inventory management systems
Conduct Performance appraisals for direct reports and make necessary recommendations for training and development
Analyzing company performance to identify trends and opportunities
Continuously exhibits a positive attitude to internal and external customers demonstrating an appreciation of the value of having the 'right' attitude and influencing others' to behave accordingly.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
Qualified Accountant and a member of a recognized professional body certified preferably: ACCA, CIMA, CPA and CGA or a Degree in Accounting.
Minimum six (6) years accounting experience with at least four (4) years in a Management position.
Knowledge of IFRS and its application.
Knowledge of local corporate tax legislation.
Computer literate with working knowledge of Microsoft Suite and excellent working knowledge of Excel. Must be able to learn new computer applications

Good judgement and decision-making skills
Air-conditioned office environment
Moderate travelling required
Must possess a valid driver’s license and own a reliable motor vehicle.
