Vacancy: PHOTOGRAPHER/ SALES AGENT
Rainforest Adventures St. Lucía invites applications from suitably qualified persons for the position of Photographer/Sales Agent. The incumbent will be responsible for capturing memorable moments by taking photos of people, settings, events, and objects; use artistic and technical skills to create high-quality images that clients will love; maintain all camera equipment in compliance with established procedures. Actively engaged clients in purchasing photos and maximize revenue from photo sales.




KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Comply with all company policies.
Capture photos of clients while on property, with special focus on tour experiences.
Actively sell photos to guests in line with photo revenue targets.
Select and assemble proper equipment and choose settings and props based on client’s wishes.
Properly light subjects using artificial or natural lightning and use flashes and reflectors where necessary
Retouch, resize and enhance images as required using photography software.
Answer any questions guests might have within the scope of work.
Ensure guests’ safety and that they adhere to rules and safety regulations whilst on tour.
Report any incidents/accidents immediately to Health and Safety Officer and Head of Department.
Promote RFA’s product offerings, including photo and souvenir shops.
Encourage guests to provide feedback on social media platforms.
Maintain the highest level of confidentiality related to company information.
Maintain performance standards as set by management.
Perform any other related duties as may be assigned by the Service Coordinator.




QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
High School Diploma with minimum 5 CXC passes.
At least one years’ experience as a Photographer.
Good customer service and communication skills and ability to be a team player.
Strong sales background and capacity.
Ability to create a fun, friendly and enthusiastic atmosphere.
Ability to use different types of photographic equipment and photography software.
Understanding of artificial and natural lighting and how it affects different settings, shapes, and skin tones
Ability to encourage photo sales.
A keen eye for detail and a well-developed artistic and creative flair.
Self-motivated with the ability to identify and complete needed tasks without direct supervision.
Ability to respond to unexpected situations quickly and effectively.
