Overview
SUMMARY OBJECTIVES
  • To manage procurement and logistics services and work closely with Sales and Marketing, to facilitate the achievement of optimum availability of inventory of brands that enhance the Company’s image as a preferred supplier in the industry.
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Management of the process of planning of procurement and supply chain activities, inventory control, logistics and distribution, customs clearance.
  • Forecasting of purchases is done in conjunction with annual sales budget to ensure achievement of targets.
  • Developing and maintaining an efficient tracking system for all orders and shipments.
  • Developing and maintaining an efficient information system on existing and potential suppliers.
  • Monitoring inventory levels in keeping with budgeted inventory and implementing measures to address short falls.
  • Monitoring and adjusting inventory levels by regularly reviewing past, present and future product demands based on historical ERP data and forecasted sales.
  • Assist with inventory management – ICM forecasting – to ensure minimization of stock- outs, reduction in slow moving stock and discontinued products.
  • Any other duties assigned within job scope.



QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Supply chain management, Logistics or business administration or related discipline.
  • A minimum of three (3) years similar experience in a FMCG Company Or relevant combination of training and experience.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, negotiating, organizational and analytical skills.
  • Ability to manage performance standards and evaluate employees, to provide technical and non-technical support.
  • Strong presentation abilities and competitive spirit.
