We are looking for a dynamic, outgoing and creative Marketing Assistant to join our team on a part-time basis. The candidate will assist the Marketing Director in performing social media management and content creation, developing marketing plans and campaigns and preparing and executing communications outputs.
Assists in the development and execution of marketing plans and campaigns through the use of traditional, digital and social media platforms.
Builds and maintains relationships with current clients and actively pursues potential clients.
Assists in developing and implementing client marketing strategies.
Copyrights and edits marketing outputs such as advertising and social media copy.
Performs customised marketing research based on client’s goals.
Performs social media monitoring and posting according to client’s schedule.
Compiles marketing analytics to assist client in tracking progress.
Uses various measurement tools to determine effectiveness of marketing campaigns, social media coverage and communications outputs.
Perform any other related duties.
Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Excellent time management and organisation skills
Ability to multitask and meet strict deadlines
Ability to be flexible and maintain composure in high pressure situations
Ability to be innovative, use initiative and take creative risks
Strong analytical, presentation and reporting skills
Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office
Excellent knowledge of social media platforms including, but not limited to, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn, Twitter
Working knowledge of current design software such as Photoshop, Canva and InDesign
Working knowledge of marketing software and online applications such as Hubspot, Google Ads, Buffer, Mailchimp and Hootsuite
Diploma or Associate’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, or Business Administration with a minimum of 1-2 years’ experience in a marketing-related position.
Must own a working laptop, reliable cell phone and have access to a stable internet connection.
Must be available to work Monday - Friday at a minimum of 20 hours per week.
