Summary
We are currently recruiting a team of marine technicians to work from our base in Rodney Bay, St Lucia. This team of technicians will be supporting the phase-out operation ensuring yachts are ready to be handed back to our owners in great condition with all repairs completed and maintenance up to date. In addition to this day-to-day charter base operation support will be required. Working hours vary and you must be flexible to operational requirements. Please note that this is a full-time, permanent position.
What you will be doing:

• Maintenance and repairs to all yachts systems and yacht equipment/technology to include but not limited to:
o Preventative maintenance checks and repairs to the engines and electrical equipment
o Preventative maintenance checks and repairs to the deck hardware
o Preventative maintenance checks and repairs to the interior hardware and fittings
o Preventative maintenance checks and repairs to the rigging and sails
• Any other duties as directed by your line manager or the Base Manager

The ideal candidate will have the following:
• Experience maintaining diesel engines and 2 & 4 stroke outboard engines
• Working knowledge of 12V DC electrical systems and yacht plumbing systems
• Experience in 110V AC and Inverted 12 V DC power systems
• Rigging experience
• Yachting experience and able to manoeuvre yachts (desirable)
• Practically minded with an ability to solve problems
• Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
• Positive personality
• A strong team player
• Able to swim
