Lewis Industries Ltd - Project Coordinator
Lewis Industries Ltd is seeking to fill the position of Project Coordinator to complement its team of Accessors and Quality Control Personnel at its Head Office in Marisule.
Summary of Duties
To undertake activities to ensure that teams maintain quality assurance standards in the delivery of building maintenance, floor care and cleaning services that results in efficiently clean and healthy environment.
The successful candidate will be required inter alia to perform the following duties:
  • Develop functional relationships with all cleaning technicians, supervisors and administrative support teams
  • Ensure teams comply with the operating procedures as per scope of work and occupational health and safety standards
  • Act as a catalyst for change and ensure ongoing compliance with quality
  • Consistently work at improving processes, procedures and personal performance
  • Maintaining quality and ensuring end results are consistently in job execution
Qualifications and Experience
A minimum of:
  • Associate degree, Diploma or equivalent in business studies, project management, building technology, or:
  • At least three years’ experience in the Building Maintenance, Floor Care or Cleaning Industry
  • Should be over 25 years
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
Knowledge, Skills and Qualities
  • A positive attitude
  • Ability to work flexible hours
  • Excellent verbal and oral communication skills
  • Must be a team player and assist in maintaining a positive atmosphere between teams
  • Acute attention to detail, and ability to analyse and solve problems creatively and independently
  • Ability to thrive in a deadline driven environment and handle different tasks in an organised and efficient manner
  • Ability to carry out assessments for request for cleaning projects
  • Ability to understand product uses for varying building maintenance projects
  • Ability to understand use of tools, equipment and personal protective equipment for job execution
Other requirements
  • A valid driver’s license for two years or more. Ability to drive manual vehicle is an asset.
